Matching Pairs
The Matching Pair game is based on the Memory Game concept but introduces a twist: instead of matching identical cards, players must match two related images.
This allows you to create more engaging and meaningful experiences by linking visuals together (e.g. product + usage, question + answer, before + after).
🧩 Game structure
You can create multiple levels, each containing a grid of cards.
Each level can include up to 8 cards (i.e. 4 pairs).
For the best user experience, we recommend using 2, 6, or 8 cards.
🃏 Cards (Pairs)
Each card is part of a pair of two different images.
Card #1 (and each card after)
For each pair, you need to define:
- Image 1
- Image 2
These two images will form a match. Players will need to find and pair them together on the grid.
The more pairs you add, the more challenging your game becomes.
💬 Enable related pop-up content
You can enable related pop-up content for each pair.
Once a player successfully matches the two images, a pop-up can appear with additional information.
This pop-up can include:
- Title
- Media (image)
- Description
This is ideal for:
- Highlighting a product and its benefits
- Explaining a concept after a correct match
- Providing educational or promotional content
➕ Add a card (pair)
Add up to 8 cards (pairs) per level to customise your experience.
🖼️ Cards’ back picture
This is the image displayed on all cards before they are revealed.
You can customise it to match your branding or campaign design.
🎮 Add a level
You can create multiple levels to increase difficulty or structure your experience in stages.
Each level can have:
- A different number of pairs
- Different images
- A different cards’ back design
💡 Tips
- Use visually distinct but clearly related images to avoid confusion
- Keep pairs intuitive (e.g. product + logo, ingredient + final product)
- Use pop-ups to reinforce your message or add value after each match
The Matching Pair format is perfect for storytelling, education, and product discovery while keeping the gameplay simple and engaging.
