# Forms Background Customisation

Adjusting the background opacity filter for forms controls how solidly the forms appear over your background. 

Do you want your backgrounds visible through your data collection forms, or do you want your data collection forms to be isolated from your background?

For example:
* Dialling it to 100 will create a solid and completely opaque background for your data collection form. 
* Dialling it to 0 will leave some of your background visible through an opaque form. 

The optimum opacity for you can be found by adjusting the dial and testing.
