# Limit by Phone Number

Limiting participation by phone number restricts users to a single play with a phone number. 

||| Please note you must include the phone number field field within your data collection form for this to work.

You can define the limitation to:

* A specific number of  plays
* Reset that limitation of plays every X number of hours
* Reset that limitation of plays every day at a specific time

You can also determine the **Title** and **Description** that is displayed to users if they try to play again. 

|| Please note that while enabling this option limits users to a single play with their phone number, it won’t stop some users playing again with a different phone number. Where prizes are concerned, it’s worth including a section about how many plays users are allowed in your terms and conditions.
