# Voting Settings

If you do not wish to use the Voting Gallery to gather votes, and would rather use it as a showcase, you can deselect the button titled **Enable the voting feature**. However, if you enable voting, you can then define:

* The number of votes a user can cast per session
* The start date and time and end date and time of voting
* Whether or not to display the number of votes each piece of media has received within the Voting Gallery as users participate (ie, if the number of votes are displayed, a user will see that image A has 4 votes, and image B has 0 votes, etc.)
