Email Domain Blocklist — How to Block Disposable or Unwanted Email Domains
Email Domain Blocklist
What is the Email Domain Blocklist?
The Email Domain Blocklist allows you to prevent users from signing up or logging in with email addresses from unwanted or disposable domains.
This helps reduce fake registrations, protect your data, improve lead quality, and avoid issues with unreachable email addresses.
When enabled, any user using a blocklisted domain will automatically be blocked and shown a custom message.
How to Enable the Blocklist
- Go to your game Settings.
- Locate the Email domain blocklist section.
- Switch the feature ON.
- Configure the following fields:
- Title displayed to user using a blocked domain
A short message shown to the user (e.g., “Email domain not allowed”).
- Description displayed to user using a blocked domain
A longer explanation or guidance (optional).
- Blocked domains (one per line)
Add the domains you want to block. Each domain must be on a separate line.
Adding Blocked Domains
Enter the domains you want to block in the textarea, one per line, without commas or extra characters. Example:
example.com
tempmailprovider.com
anotherdomain.net
You can block:
- Disposable or temporary email providers
- Spam-related domains
- Any domain you want to restrict manually
A link to a recommended list of 50 disposable email domains is already provided directly under the textarea for convenience.
What Users Will See
If a user tries to sign up or access an experience using a blocked domain, they will see:
- The title you configured
- The description you added (optional)
This allows you to provide clear instructions, such as asking them to use a different email address.
Best Practices
- Keep your blocklist up to date as disposable email services change frequently.
- Avoid blocking major providers like gmail.com, outlook.com, or icloud.com unless absolutely necessary.
- Use friendly and helpful messaging to reduce user frustration.
