Data collection form customisation

The data collection form can be set up before or after the game experience (although we advise you to put it at the beginning for better conversion rates).

It is an intermediate screen that intervenes:

Either after the start screen (the landing page) and before the game experience to encourage upstream data collection.
Either after the game experience and before the end screen if you would prefer data collection after the game experience.

The data collection form can be deactivated (but the Drimify module can still continue to collect data) if the user is already known to your platform (website, extranet, customer area) and you are using the "Custom Unique ID" URL variable feature available in Drimify Technical Documentation.

Where is the form configuration tool?

To set up the form, you can go to the "Offer" creation step before or after the "Configuration" step of the game and choose the "collect data" option.

You can only activate one data collection screen per game or interactive module. If you don’t see the option in the "Offer" creation step after the game, uncheck it in the "Offer" creation step before the game and it will be available again.

What items are available on the form?

All items enabled in a form will have to be filled by the user, with the exception of customisable checkboxes.

You can choose from the following fields:

Unique identifier
Gender
First and Last Name
Nickname (for use with the classification table for example)
Postal Address
Postal Code
City
Country
Telephone
Company Name
Website address

You can also add the following fields and change their label (change their name):

Date of birth - which can also be used as another date field
A customisable text field
A customisable drop-down menu - it allows you to create a list of values each corresponding to a label. The value is not visible to the user and will only be displayed in the data export. The label will be visible to the user only. You must indicate one piece of data per line by following this format: value | label.
Customisable checkboxes - these allow you to create one or more checkboxes each corresponding to a label. You must specify one piece of data per line by following this format: value | label. You can add | required to make this field mandatory.
Opt-in newsletter.

You can also:

Make filling out the form mandatory
Use the Google Recaptcha anti-spam system
Add your additional legal information - especially to indicate the specificities related to GDPR or data protection
