Traffic, monthly views, simultaneous connections, and participation limits
What do the view numbers mean?
Our mission is to make gamification accessible to all types of companies, from very small to very large.
Having the view numbers tiered according to different offers allows us to deliver a service adapted to the size of each of our clients with a rational and fair approach. It helps us to optimise your return on investment and support your growth.
How do I determine the right number of monthly views for my needs?
The number of views refers to how many times games and experiences are displayed. This is the number of times a Drimify application is called from our servers. If the same person plays 5 different games, then that counts as 5 views. We need this information in order to scale your account according to the estimated volume, and to ensure an adequate quality of service.
Additionally, it's essential to understand how views are calculated when you integrate multiple games or experiences using the Dynamic Path™ or Combo™ features. When you set up a Dynamic Path™ with multiple games, each game inside that path will be counted as a separate view. For instance, if you've created a Dynamic Path™ consisting of 5 games, and a user completes the entire experience, this will generate a total of 6 views: 1 for accessing the Dynamic Path™ itself and 5 additional views for each game played within it. This is vital for accurate tracking and ensures that the server load is properly accounted for, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Offers adapted to small businesses
Marie works in a company with 50 employees and wants to offer a monthly in-house experience.
This is likely to generate an engagement rate of 60-70%, or about 40 participants.
A package of 100 views per month is what is needed.
If Marie wants to create an experience as part of an external social media campaign instead, and she sponsors it via an ad campaign to reach 20,000 people, there is a good chance that this experience will generate 5-10% engagement, and therefore generate between 1,000 and 2,000 participations on Drimify. Here, a package of 5,000 views will be more than enough.
Marie even has the capacity to carry out her internal and external experiences with this 5,000-view package.
Offers adapted to medium-sized businesses
Ryan works in a company with more than 500 employees and wants to offer a monthly in-house experience.
This is likely to generate an engagement rate of 60-70%, or about 350 participants.
A package of 500 or 1,000 views per month is what's needed
If Ryan also wants to offer an internal Dynamic Path™ experience of 10 steps dedicated to the on-boarding of 50 new employees per year, then it will be necessary to have 50 employees x 10 steps each, or 500 additional views. In this scenario it would be advisable to have a minimum package of 1,000 views per month.
If Ryan wants to create an experience as part of an external social media campaign, and he sponsors it via an ad campaign to reach 50,000 people, there is a good chance that this experience will generate 5-10% engagement, and therefore generate between 2,500 and 5,000 participations on Drimify. Here, a package of 5,000 or 10,000 views would be recommended.
If Ryan's projects generate more engagement than he forecasts, it will be possible to upgrade the package to 50,000 views or more.
Offers adapted to big businesses
Melissa works in a company with over 5,000 employees, and would like to offer a monthly in-house experience.
A flat rate of 50,000 views per month is what is needed.
If Melissa also wants to offer a 10-step Dynamic Path™ experience, internally dedicated to the on-boarding of 200 new employees per year, then it will use 200 employees x 10 steps each, or 2,000 additional views.
If gamification is also used for company events, then a package of 50,000 to 100,000 views per month is recommended.
If Melissa wants to create an experience for an external social media campaign, and she sponsors it via an ad campaign, aiming to reach 1 million people, there is a good chance that this experience will generate 5-10% engagement, and therefore generate between 50,000 and 100,000 participations on Drimify. Here, a 500,000-view package would be recommended.
If Melissa's projects generate more engagement than she forecasts, it will be possible to upgrade the package to 1 million views or more.
Offers adapted to very large businesses
Camille works in a company with over 50,000 employees and would like to offer a monthly in-house experience.
A flat rate of 100,000 views per month is what is needed.
If Camille also wants to offer a 10-step Dynamic Path™ experience internally dedicated to the on-boarding of 2,000 new employees per year, then it will require 2,000 employees x 10 steps each, or 20,000 additional views.
If gamification is also used for company events, then a package of 100,000 or 500,000 views per month would be recommended.
If Camille wants to create an experience for an external social media campaign, and she sponsors it via an ad campaign, aiming to reach 10 million people, there is a good chance that this experience will generate 5-10% engagement, and therefore generate between 500,000 and 1 million participations on Drimify. Here, a 5 million-view package would be recommended.
If Camille's projects generate more engagement than she forecasts, it will be possible to upgrade the package to 10 million views and more.
Our aim is to facilitate the evolution of gamification in your external and internal communication strategies by offering you sliding scale rates according to your level of use. By approaching it in this way, you can maximise your gamification efforts more economically, and reach your goals faster.
If the number of monthly views is higher than what is included in my offer, what happens?
The view count system works on the principle of a "soft limit." As your monthly usage increases, you will receive notifications at 60%, 80%, and 100% of your usage. If you exceed the monthly volume, your campaign will be paused. You can upgrade your account online directly from your Drimify interface, or contact us. We notify you before you reach your limit as if you upgrade prior to reaching 100%, you're allowing your campaign to run uninterrupted.
Contact us for a tailored offer if you have a high traffic project.
How many users can connect simultaneously?
As part of our fair use policy, we recommend a maximum of 100 connections-per-minute across all offers.
Beyond that, you will have to contact us and consider a higher package which will allow you to choose a new level to suit your needs: 500 connections-per-minute, 1,000, 5,000, or even more.
Contact us for an adapted offer if you have a project where you are forecasting a lot of simultaneous traffic.
Is it possible to limit the number of entries, plays, or participations per person?
Yes, and you have multiple options:
Limit participation to once per IP address
Limit participation to once per email address
Limit participation to once per custom format
Limit participation to once per specific time period (once every 12 hours, 24 hours, etc.)
Additionally, you have options to:
Exclude multiple IPs and manage that blacklist
Restrict or enable participation by specific countries
To do this, you will need to set the option(s) that suit you best in the settings creation step for each application. This is done through your Drimify dashboard.
Understand the difference between "views" and "participations"
These two metrics are essential for measuring the effectiveness and success of your gamified experiences.
Views: Each view of your experience by a user is counted under this metric. If the experience is displayed 3 times, this gives 3 views. It is the number of of times an experience is called from our servers, which in turn contributes to the resources necessary for the smooth running of your project. In the data collection table, each view can create a row without user information unless a data collection form is completed.
Participations (or “leads” in the statistics page): If your experience includes a form and a user fills it out, this generates a lead. This action adds a complete line in the data export and adds a "lead" in your statistics, including the participant's contact details.
Counting views is a more useful measure for several reasons:
Not all experiences have a form. So counting only participations could give you an incomplete picture of user engagement.
In some experiences, the form is placed at the end. This means that a user could be very engaged, but decide not to complete the form for various reasons.
We provide you with the technology to create unique, engaging experiences, however, success depends on the quality of your design and the promotion carried out around your project. Even with a lot of views, if the user experience is not optimised, or if the promotion is not effective enough, the participations may be lower than your expectations.
To increase your chances of success, consult our promotion guide. It offers advice to boost the visibility and engagement of your projects.
We also have our in-house gamification agency services to help you with your projects. Don't hesitate to contact us to find out more.
