Moderation
From here you can accept or reject pending media files to appear in a connected Voting Gallery, and even edit their appearance to optimise them for your Voting Gallery.
The accepted or rejected nature of a submitted media file is also reflected under the Media Status column under Data Collection.
Clicking on the 3-dot icon at the top of right will allow you to sort the submitted media files by newest first, oldest first, most votes, and fewest votes, making it easier to navigate apps with a lot of submissions.
Around submitted files you’ll see:
Identifiers for who submitted each file like the email or the name (assuming the data collection form was filled in by the user)
Their category name (if categories have been enabled)
The included caption (if applicable)
The number of votes they’ve received in the Voting Gallery (if applicable).
You will then have the option to reject or accept each media file:
Accepting it will send it into the Accepted tab
Rejecting it will send it into the Rejected tab
Please note, you can retroactively reject media files in the Accepted tab, and retroactively accept files in the Rejected tab.
To the top right of each submitted media file, you’ll see a button with the 3 dots-icon. Clicking on it will give you the options to:
View fullscreen
Download

Most of these are self-explanatory, but editing warrants some explanation.
Depending on the type of device used by a user to take an image or a video, and the user’s settings, media files may be uploaded at the wrong angle, or too zoomed in or zoomed out. By selecting the option to edit, you can move, crop, zoom, or rotate an image, to adjust how it will appear in the Voting Gallery.
Below the image, after you’ve made your changes, you can hit Cancel or Save.
