How does the data export work?
Drimify applications collect data personal data through the optional data collection form screens that can be included either at the start or the end of an experience, as well as all participant actions generated throughout a session.
You can access the data generated by each of your applications directly from your Drimify dashboard:
Or, once you're on your application, under the creation steps in the About section, you'll find the Data Collection space:
Essential data: including form data, results, and statistical data
Details of each participant's answers and their result profile in a question and answer game
The distribution of winnings in an instant win game
Empty lines (or 0) in your data export mean that users have displayed the page, but did not click on the start button on the start-up screen. Or they may have clicked on the start button on the start-up screen, but have not continued with the experience. Additional lines of entries are therefore counted, but without the information on the participants if a data collection form was in place, because they did not complete it.
You can choose a reporting period from the last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, the entire period of the game (all time), for data specific to certain periods of your campaign.
We recommend filtering and viewing the data by date customised to your campaign if, for example, you have not deleted the test data prior to launch. Or if you want to see a specific period or even track entries live.
There are two different options for exporting data:
Available with all offers
The data export can be downloaded as a spreadsheet from the Drimify dashboard on the data collection page of each application. You can then use the data as you wish on an external third-party platform.
If you have more than 750 lines of data, the spreadsheet will be emailed to the email address listed on the account.
In adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), it is only the email address listed on the account that the data will be sent to. Any other relevant parties requiring the data will need to have them forwarded on by the Drimify account owner.
Available with all offers
If you want to automate the process, you can use the Drimify API to retrieve real-time data and automatically transfer it to your third-party platform using Zapier or Make to connect Drimify to your system. Specific data is not yet available via the API.
For more information on using the API via Zapier or Make, see the articles in the Developers & API category of the help desk.
Even if your package expires, you will still be able to log in to your account to view and export your data. The data collected by your applications can be accessed free of charge and for an unlimited time from your dashboard.
